We collect only the minimum necessary information required to deliver reliable medication scheduling, gentle senior voice prompts, and family Care Circle updates:
- Waitlist & Account Credentials: When you join our waitlist or set up a Care Circle, we collect your email address, selected subscription plan preference, and early beta testing preferences.
- Medication & Routine Data: Prescription names, custom dosages, scheduled administration times, PRN ("as-needed") instructions, and daily completion logs ("Taken", "Snoozed", "Skipped").
- Care Circle Member Contacts: Primary caregiver email addresses, telephone numbers for 45-minute grace period SMS alert escalation, and optional custom "Voice Hug" audio notes.
- OCR Camera Label Scans: Photos processed locally on your smartphone using on-device optical character recognition (OCR) to extract medication names and dosages without storing raw image files on public servers.

Your data is used exclusively to operate EverSteady and maintain your family’s peace of mind:
- To dispatch gentle audio reminders and visual alarms to your parent’s phone or tablet.
- To populate the passive Care Circle status feed (e.g., 🟢 "All Caught Up") for adult children.
- To trigger urgent SMS alerts to designated family members when a 45-minute grace period expires without confirmation.
- To generate clean, 1-tap 30-day clinical PDF adherence summaries for physician and pharmacy visits.
- To send transactional launch notifications, beta test invites, and account updates via Resend.

Unlike many free health tools that display predatory ad banners or monetize by selling anonymized health trends to pharmaceutical companies:
- EverSteady contains zero ad networks, third-party banner ads, or tracking pixels.
- We never sell, rent, license, or trade your family's medication history, contact information, or health logs.
